A brochure describing a driving tour of Valdosta's six historic districts can be obtained from the conference center and tourism authority and at the Lowndes County Historical Society and Museum (305 W. Central Ave.).

Factory outlet shops lure bargain hunters to the Lake Park Outlets Mall, I-75 exit 5. Anchor stores at the Valdosta Mall on SR 94W are Belk and JCPenney. Summit Pointe is located at Inner Perimeter and Country Club rds.
