A tour that explores Hungary’s Habsburg heritage in Gödöllő. This charming town boasts a beautiful baroque palace that was once the spring and autumn residence of the royal couple - Franz Joseph and Sisi. Despite the fact that the building had to endure all the hardships of the 20th century, it is now among the most well preserved palaces in the country and the only place where you can learn about the life of the Habsburgs from a personal perspective. This option is the extension of our Sissi Heritage Tour that will make your day trip to Gödöllő truly memorable. After a visit to Sissi’s Palace your driver will take you to the renowned Lázár park - built by two carriage-driving champions, the Lázár Brothers - where you'll enjoy a delicious Hungarian lunch in a charming rural setting. The park’s most popular feature is a show that will introduce you to 1000 years of Hungarian history, horse culture and of course, some of its most unique animals.
