Age 16 and up ONLY In the early 1900’s, Galveston had more “working girls” per capita than any place in the world and the fate of these women was that the simply vanished. Join us as we walk through the dark side of Galveston’s Red Light District. Hear the stories of the spirits, refusing to leave the only homes they ever knew.. You’ll learn about the “vices” that caused Galveston to earn its nickname: Pleasure Island and see the places, regulated by “good guy” mobsters that kept everything running smoothly.
