Overview
This tour gives you the opportunity to visit Knossos Palace and discover the Minoan world then go away from the crowds to walk through the narrow streets of few old traditional villages . Next visit the Cave of Zeus where according to our Mythology Zeus was born there , visit an olive oil factory where we learn all about Cretan golden liquid and taste different kind of olive oil . Explore the old wind mills and enjoy the amazing views from around 3000 feet above sea level. After exploring and walking to the cave it’s time to enjoy a Cretan traditional lunch at a family restaurant up on the mountain.( OPTIONAL) Well now it’s time to hit the road and go back to your hotel or cruise port . ( We pick you up from Heraklion port so it’s perfect if you are on a Cruise Ship, ( we don’t pick up from Chania , Ierapetra) .

- Walking up to the cave is OPTIONAL instead you can enjoy a drink at the many cafeterias that are there .
- There is a 20 minutes walking up hill and then around 100 steps entering the cave and then back up .
- Suitable footwear is advisable if you are going to walk up to the cave .
- We can skip the cave and instead add another place to visit instead.
