Overview
Explore colonial Cartagena, learn about the history of this old walled city. Visit the San Felipe Fortress the Emerald museum, the iconic Santo Domingo church and the Inquisition Palace, accompanied by a Bilingual Guide and a luxury Car. walking in the colonial district, starting in Parque Bolivar which is shaded by large trees and it´s located the statue of the great Liberator. Around the square is the Museo del Oro, which exhibits its fine collection of archaeological objects dating back to the prehispanic period; and the Palacio de la Inquisicion, recognisable for its large baroque door. The Inquisition held its meetings in the palace here and it was also the site of the prison and torture chambers for presumed heretics, opponents of the Catholic church. Continues to the Santo Domingo church where you will try the Colombia´s most award winning coffee. A luxury coffee for the world , then we will finish at the Santo Domingo Bulwart to get back.
