Overview
Enjoy the sunrise on the summit of Mt Batur, and sign up for an early-morning hike to the summit. Such excursions typically depart from your hotel at 02.00 am. Setting off at 03.30 am in the morning, you will be hiking in the dark with a flashlight alongside an experienced hiking guide and be rewarded with a breathtaking sunrise view from the top of the Batur volcano. Take in panoramic views of the volcanic valley, lake Batur, Mt Abang, and Mt Agung in the distance before having a simple yet delicious breakfast to recharge your energy. For physically fit hikers, the ascent takes approximately 5 to 6-hour up and down. Your hike finish at approximately 09.00 am and after the hiking is completed, the driver will take you back to the hotel. Indeed, this is a perfect day for the nature lover and adventurer at heart!
