Overview
Traveling in a traditional wooden boat you will travel to the captivating island named Prison Island, even though it was never a prison. You will learn why and what it evolved into. While there you'll walk among what was an endangered species of tortoise that has been revived in the island sanctuary. You can pet and even feed these magnificent animals, the oldest being 197 years old! Returning to the boat, you'll snorkel on a beautiful coral reef, with unending color and schools of fish just under the clear water's surface. Later, you'll learn all about the ancient town of Stone Town. A unique feature of all of our tours is that just by booking with us, you will be helping to support our local charities focused on educating underpriviledged women and children. A portion of your fee will automatically be deducted for our community projects. We thank you in advance for helping the people of Zanzibar!
