This day adventure takes you deep into the south of Tasmania to explore this stunning region's highlights. We drive through the historic riverside village of Franklin which still honours the traditional craft of building wooden boats. Then it's time to head to the Far South: HASTINGS CAVES & THERMAL SPRING POOL (cost included) Explore the thermal-spring-fed pool and surrounds. Then step into the largest dolomite cave open to visitors in Australia. See spectacular stalactites, columns, shawls, and stalagmites. Please bring warm clothes as the caves are a chilly 9C. TAHUNE ADVENTURES (cost included) Walk in the treetops on the Tahune airwalk, cross a swinging bridge, see Huon pines, and relish the views of the surrounding forest on this two-hour forest adventure. LUNCH AT THE KERMANDIE HOTEL (cost excluded) Enjoy a delicious lunch with a view at the Kermandie Hotel, offering charming, comfortable accommodations, great food, a fully restored bar, and its own marina.
