Overview
Embark on an easy hills walking tour from Verona center and experience the stunning beauty of this historic city. Starting from the iconic Mediaval bridge of Ponte Pietra, you will make your way up to the castle of San Pietro, taking in breathtaking views of Verona along the way. You will pass by the Roman Theatre facing the river and the 1939 made funicular. Exploring up the hidden ruins of Re Teodorico and walking along the ancient walls that once protected the city, you'll reach the peaceful Don Calabria convent. The atmosphere will be a mix of grass fields, ancient walls, towers and olive trees in the city nearby hills. Continuing on, you'll be rewarded with an incredible panoramic view of the lush Giardino Giusti with renaissance architecture, statues, terraces and fountains that date back to the 16th century. Finishing the tour passing by the military architecture made by the Austrian and the amazing arches of the Church San Giovanni in Valle.
