Experience a full-day tour to witness the beauty of the Canadian Rockies in winter. Start your day with a pick-up from Calgary, Canmore, or Banff. Grotto Canyon: one of the more beautiful walks in the Canmore/Banff region. Hiking down to get to the narrow-walled creek bed and discover the pictographs. As the smooth limestone walls get steeper and steeper, you’ll come upon a fork in the frozen creek bed. Heading right takes you to a majestic icefall known as the Grotto Canyon Icewalk. Grassi Lakes is a popular spot for hiking, photography, and wildlife viewing. This lake is known for its vibrant turquoise color. In winter, with snow-covered trees lining the Grassi Lakes hiking trail and dramatic snow-capped mountains all around, the winter scenery can be magical. Banff town that flanked on all sides by towering mountains. Downtown streets are filled with restaurants, cafés, and stores. Spend some free time around Banff Town, grab a lunch, or shop for souvenirs.
