Overview
Cascia, a small village in central Italy. In the middle of the countryside. It's most famous for being the birth place of Holy Rita. A Saint, pillar in modern day Catholicism, an inspiration to many. Cascia was the home of Saint Rita, who was born in the nearby commune of Roccaporena in 1381; she also died there in 1457.
