Learn about the rich history of Vancouver on my Vancouver tours as the area has been inhabited for 10,000 years by the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. On our walking tours, you will hear stories about what life was like for the early residents in the 19th century when the city began as a hub for logging and gold miners. Unlike other tours, your guide will provide visual context for all our stops with digital photos on an iPad. With a background in history and archaeology, your tour will cover many topic not discussed in other tours and you will leave with an in-depth understanding of Vancouver. A bit about me: I have been raised in Vancouver and have a degree in indigenous archaeology. I have been working in tourism and education for 10+ years and love giving tours!
