- One way from Shinjuku to Nikko takes approximately 3 hours at most. While congestion is expected as it is a popular sightseeing area, the tour will be led to all destinations (Toshogu Shrine, Kegon Falls, Lake Chuzenji, Hanyu Parking Area) as long as there is no inclement weather or unexpected accident or traffic jam. The tour is scheduled to end at 20:00. There are 2 drivers available for bus operation.
- If the listed locations cannot be visited due to unavoidable reasons, any of the following will be visited instead of Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji: Tamozawa Imperial Villa, Kirifuri Falls, Taiyuuin Mausoleum at Rinno-ji Temple, Futarasan Shrine, etc. No refunds will be issued as a result of location changes.
- As the tour uses a bus for the entire itinerary, arrivals at each site may be delayed due to road conditions.
- The charge to take the Kegon Falls elevator is not included in the booking price. Admire the waterfall from the observation deck facing the falls free of charge.
- Depending on road conditions, the tour may stop at a different parking area (rest area) instead of the Hanyu Parking Area. In this case, please note that the different rest area will not be a representation of an Edo Period town.
- Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats or lunch. If a seat on the bus and lunch are required for the child, please make a booking at the child rate.
- [With Lunch Tour] When booking, please indicate the number of customers requesting vegetarian meals (please indicate even when there are no requests).
- [No Lunch Tour] Lunch is not included on this tour. Please prepare lunch in advance on your own. Cafes and restaurants near the rest area can be very crowded. Preparing this prior to departure is recommended.
- The tour will walk up and down steps and hilly paths at Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Kegon Falls. Be sure to wear shoes and clothing which are comfortable to walk in.
- Shoes must be removed in some areas in Toshogu Shrine. Please participate wearing shoes that are easy to put on and take off, and are comfortable to walk in.
- While congestion is expected at the location, an audio service with which explanations from the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter can be heard will be available.
- Depending on the number of tour participants, transportation to be used may be other than a large bus (mid-size bus, small bus, hired car, etc.).
- Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour.
