You can see a large dune area without going to the Southern Gobi Desert and experience the desert experience, so it is a popular destination for locals and travelers. The sand desert stretches over 70 km and features a unique mix of grasslands, field streams and desert terrain. ★ Terlge National Park is Mongolia's premier holiday destination, an hour and a half drive from downtown Ulaanbaatar. The magnificent harmonious combination of mountainous valleys, rock formations, forests, grasslands and the Tulle River across national parks is a spectacular sight in the summer when Edelweiss and other wildflowers bloom. Here you can enjoy horseback riding across the grasslands, trekking wildflowers and seeing Turtle Rock, one of Tertsey's top attractions.
