What to Do in St. Augustine Beach
Just 5 miles south of its notable neighbor St. Augustine, St. Augustine Beach is a quiet, relaxing vacation spot. Sea turtles nest here May through October, and furry creatures also enjoy the upscale beach community, as many of its businesses welcome dogs on a leash. On Wednesday mornings, bring your four-legged friend to the Wednesday Market at St. Johns County Pier Park (350 A1A Beach Blvd.), where 60-80 vendors purvey fresh produce, fine foods, and arts and crafts from 8-12:30. Pull up a lawn chair and attend a free summer concert at the same park on Wednesday evenings from mid-May to mid-October.
