A hidden treasure near Jackson Square, the cozy cafe is found in a 1700's carriage house that was supposedly once a brothel. It is named after the first opera performed in NOLA. The entrance is down a narrow alleyway into an inner courtyard, which you can easily by-pass. The seasonal menu includes items such as the Sylvain burger, pan-roasted striped bass and slow-cooked short ribs. Desserts are flavorful, try the coconut milk crème brûlée with a honey oat crisp.
