This is my second stay. I like this hotel. It has what I need. The location is handy for me, coming from northern Michigan, and there is easy access to downtown Grand Rapids via 131, and to northside shopping centers via 131, 96, or 4 Mile Rd, and one of the lowest price gas stations is at the intersection. The rates are reasonable. It is clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. It seems to be well managed. My room has been quiet. The beds are comfortable. The free internet is basic, but adequate if needed. I like the free continental breakfast, which is basic, but good, and it helps me to get off to a good start of the day. I enjoyed my stay.

Possibly one of the best basic hotels in the area for the money, if you are looking for a clean, quiet place to stay, in good condition. The continental breakfast was pretty basic, but good. The room was basic, but clean and I had no problems sleeping. The pool was overbearingly muggy, but I was not there to swim or for a holiday, but I should say it wasn't tempting or appealing to me. Easy access to 131. Next to one of the lowest priced gas stations in the area. Easy to get to N. Alpine via 4 Mile Rd. or 131/196 or downtown via 131. The free WIFI is a bit slow, and you need to sign up for marketing email, but it was better than nothing for basic needs.
