AAA Diamond Inspector Notes

A memorable experience awaits at this classic Nantucket-style inn. Guest rooms and cottages are richly appointed with unique furnishings and luxurious fabrics. Beautiful artwork adorns each room. Highlights of your stay may include a relaxing day lounging on a padded chair on the great lawn overlooking the bay or taking advantage of the complimentary recreational activities. Daily cheese, port and sherry tastings are served in the library each afternoon. Other recreational activities include summer boat excursions to private picnic locations (there is a charge for the picnic lunch, if provided by the restaurant). Many unique tours included in the shoulder season are available, such as an oyster cruise, where they take you to their own oyster farm and a surfcasting expedition, where guests are provided with first-rate casting instruction and get their photos taken with their catches before release. The seasonal 1949 Plymouth Woody Wagon tour takes guests through the Siasconset fishing village and provides a good overview of life on the island dating back to the 1600s. A Nantucket bay cruise to town is available in July and August. A four wheel drive natural history excursion to Great Point lighthouse is offered most of the year. Guests have complimentary use of the BMW during their stay and reservations can be made on arrival. At sunset, incredible views of the beach and oyster farm can be had at the comfortable seating area on the lower deck, where these delicacies can be enjoyed with champagne. Smoke free premises. 33 units, some cottages. 1-3 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors. Bath: shower only. Accessibility (Call).
