I stayed at The Dana in February 2020 and the experience I had then was a bit different than what I experienced in January 2024. It's a fine hotel, but the room I was in this time smelled musty and stale and the shower was broken.

An absolutely beautiful room. Spacious. Well designed. The hotel is beautiful. My room was a little too close to the road and I was awakened by airplanes.
Super location with great views of the marina, gentle breezes off the bay, and a bus stop at the entrance to the property with a direct link to the transit center for other bus lines, trolleys, and the Coaster train. The Dana also offered a complimentary shuttle to nearby Sea World. The friendly staff offered suggestions and pamphlets and the reception area had infused water, a video display with daily offerings, etc. Missing: a fan in the bathroom, complimentary breakfast, and afternoon cookies available for a couple hours. The weather was too chilly for us to spend time around the pools, so we didn't use them, except to snuggle under blankets to watch the nightly movie at the tropical pool, but they look beautiful! (We were a party of three generations; 8-70 years.)

Excellent service and good environment. Good restaurant, good food, good staffs, parking lots safe, walking distance with neat looking.
