Upon arriving at check-in I was told they didn't have my reservation. They said that since it was a long term stay facility that people could go online and renew their stay without the front desk being notified. Instead of ruining my weekend by flying into a rage I just asked for a refund. They promptly did. 20 minutes later they called to say someone had checked out and they had a room available. I had already found and registered at another hotel so I declined. This Studio 6 is a total dump with obvious drug addicts milling around the parking lot. The move to another hotel resulted in a $550.00 bill as opposed to the original $184.00. The reasons is obvious: Florida/Georgia weekend in Jax is the biggest weekend all year in the city and I felt lucky to find another place. So I shelled out the money and will think twice about booking hotels on AAA.
