This modern property—within walking distance of the beach, pier and transit center—boasts a lovely rooftop pool and second-floor terrace. Be aware of the train tracks on the city side of the building. King rooms with partial ocean views on the north and south side of the hotel will hear the trains the most, but a quiet zone for overnight trains was enacted in summer 2021. Smoke free premises. 149 units. 6 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Was charged $35 per day for "Destination Amenity Fee". The day I checked in I got a $35 to use at "Helloo Betty" restaurant next door. The clerk told me that I could get a drink at the room next to the lobby. The next day I got a glass of beer. There was no mention of this fee when I booked my stay. The parking fee is $44 per day! Last time I was there it was $15 and I stayed at Springhill Suites in Carlsbad and paid $15 for parking. This parking fee of $44 per day was not mentioned when I booked my stay.
