While the hotel was average, the rooms were dirty, the pool was dirty, and the pool service was just average. The biggest disappointment was with the misleading characteristic made by AAA when booking this hotel room. Once we arrived at the hotel, we were charged an extra $43 per day for the resort fee which i was under the impression that it was included in the published rate. This misleading practice by AAA will unfortunately make me think long and hard before I book through this website. I really felt mislead, but it will not happen again.

The customer service was excellent. Each staff member we interacted with was polite, friendly, and great at their job. We loved the amenities, the shopping, the restaurants, the drinks, the cabanas and poolside chairs, the tennis courts, the spa... we cancelled our other plans in San Diego and just stayed at the resort!
