This hotel must have been quite nice in 1980, however, in 2022 it is in desperate need of revival. It was dark and musty. It was a pet friendly hotel, so people were walking around with dogs of all sizes. It was one of those rooms where you don’t want to walk around barefoot! The bathroom towels were nearly completely sheer. The room did not even have any charging stations for phone and tablets. For a “conference center,” this just does not work! Use the hotel if you are canoeing on the Au Sable or if you are fly fishing with your dog, but for no other reason!
