Motel 6 Spokane, Wa - West

My staff member was great, even though it was his first day of being by himself, as I checked in after midnight on Saturday. This facility allows smoking which I could smell in the hallway. When I arrived at my room the lock would not work, and had to get another room. When I was assigned another room, the room was dirty and not turned over (the bed was used, the bathroom was not cleaned and the chair to the desk was out of place, along with the garbage not cleaned out AND tipped over). So, I was given a third room. This room was just okay, until I attempted to raise the toilet seat and it almost came off, as one of the bolts was non-existent and it slipped off. For fun, the bathrooms are not necessarily upgraded. So, in short, would I return here? Not really no. I expect more from the Motel 6 brand. I'd ask for my money back if I could, but I'm not sure where to ask. Again, the staff member was a good guy. The rest of the facility wasn't something I would go back to.

Apparently wasn't adequately cleaned from the previous guest (leftover food in fridge and freezer, long strand of hair in the fridge, long strand of hair in the shower). Insufficient towels for the number of guests in our party. Only soap provided in the bathroom; no shampoo or conditioner. TV antenna or cable was not working because we could not get any signal for any channel. No guide for TV operation or channel guide provided. No window screen for natural ventilation; had to rely on a/c unit which some people like me as sensitive to "artificial" air and prefer not to use.
