Although checkin time is 3 pm, I was sent to a room that was in the process of being cleaned so I waited in the lobby. After 4 pm, I was assured that my room was ready, but when my luggage and I arrived, it was still being cleaned! The housecleaning staff gave me a different room and even went downstairs to update my room keys so she was great. Unfortunately, the refrigerator was super loud when it ran so that was annoying. Despite all those mishaps, the rooms, free parking and breakfast makes the Larkspur an above average hotel.
