I recently had the pleasure of staying at the downtown Seattle hotel, and overall, my experience was fantastic. The hotel itself and its location were nothing short of exceptional. However, I must admit that the valet service left much to be desired. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was immediately struck by the elegant ambiance and the convenient downtown location. The hotel lobby exuded sophistication and warmth, setting the stage for a promising stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. The spacious and well-appointed room provided breathtaking views of the city, making it an ideal choice for travelers looking to soak in the beauty of downtown Seattle. The amenities in the room were top-notch, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I was truly impressed by the level of comfort and luxury this hotel offered. However, the valet service was a significant letdown. Upon our arrival, we found no valet attendant in sight. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, we decided to unload our luggage onto a cart ourselves, only to have a valet attendant finally appear. Unfortunately, his demeanor was far from welcoming. He was rude and unhelpful, creating a negative atmosphere that tainted the beginning of our trip. The most frustrating aspect of the valet service was the exorbitant cost. It was disappointing to be charged such a hefty fee for valet parking when there were no other parking options available. While I understand the convenience of valet parking, the pricing seemed excessive, especially given the subpar service we received. In summary, our stay at the downtown Seattle hotel was marked by its exceptional accommodations and prime location. The overall experience was excellent, but it was marred by the unfortunate valet service. I hope that the hotel management takes steps to improve this aspect of their service, as it would undoubtedly enhance the overall guest experience. Despite this shortcoming, I would still recommend the hotel for its stunning rooms, great location, and the potential for an excellent stay once the valet service issues are addressed.
Hello, as a member service organization your feedback is valuable. Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.
Great location across the street from Pike Place Market. We stayed in an ocean view room which was beautiful and roomy. Be advised that any view of the ocean right now includes views of two large construction cranes which are working in a new pier at the water in front of the hotel, so may or may not be worth the view price. It was an easy walk to the monorail and to our cruise ship pier from the Inn at the Market. The rooftop patio is lovely and we and many others sat out there at sunset. Bring your own snacks and a bottle of wine and you're set.
