Hyatt Place Alpharetta/North Point Mall

They didn't clean the room once and I have the strong suspicion that the bed linens were not changed from the previous guests. I slept over the bedspread. I asked for someone to clean the room several times and was told the cleaning was not on the schedule. I had to empty the wastebaskets, ask for additional bed linens and clean towels. The person at the reception desk had to do it. In addition there was soot coming from the air conditioning vent the whole time.

Showed up to try and get an early check in, was told I would get a text when it became available. Ended up getting a text message after the original check-in time, that I had a room assigned. No problem that I couldn't check in early. When I arrived 3 hours after expected check-in, I was told they didn't have any more rooms available. That they could cancel my reservation without any penalty if that worked fine for me. I told them how I had tried to check in earlier, and got a text message confirming I had an assigned room, and magically a room became available. Two other groups tried to check in after me and were turned away. The hotel is dimly lit, only one elevator works and it's missing buttons. Bathroom in my room was so small, I had to sit on the toilet or step into the shower to close the door. Honestly, the only saving grace for this location was the housekeeping and kitchen staff; a couple of the people working in the front had an attitude and would talk negative about guests. But even for the free breakfast, the location doesn't have enough forks or spoons for guests.
