AAA Diamond Inspector Notes
Built in 1915, this hotel references its past while offering modern amenities. Glittering chandeliers catch your eye as you enter the lobby. Look around to find unique antiques like the restored 1885 Weber rosewood piano and exposed brick walls. Walk outside and you're in the heart of the historic downtown area. Smoke free premises. 90 units. 3-4 stories, interior corridors.

Bedroom was on the small side and bathroom is older. Water pressure in shower was not great, but overall everything was fine. We would definitely go back because the location is great.
The historic nature of the hotel and location make it a great option for staying in Glenwood Springs. The front desk agent Mia was AMAZING and helpful at check-in, and allowed us to change rooms when we had an issue with the first room. That said the hotel is lacking in some basic services - we could not get any glasses for drinks in the room , being given only a few paper cups at the outset of our stay and no housekeeping services during our stay so no more cups, coffee, sweeteners, etc, none of that stuff was refreshed during our stay. We had to keep rinsing the cups out. The front desk agent (different one than Mia) told me they don't have any glassware and instructed me to go next door to the pub and they would give us glasses. So I went down, had to wait in line to talk to hostess who sent me to the bar to wait in line to ask bartender for a glass, who ultimately told me - sternly - that they do NOT allow hotel guests to borrow glassware and I should advise the front desk of that fact. Pros: Parking was easy, hotel room 230 was neatly decorated with authentic antique furniture and a great view of the mountain, and again, the front desk clerk Mia deserves all the kudos possible!
