Although it was fancier than we expected, the inn is lovely.
Hotel was charming and while all of Historic Annapolis is very walkable, location was terrific - State House across the street, Irish pub around the corner. Room was tastefully decorated and roomy. Was not aware that some rooms had balconies so will request that next time, but there was a small outdoor space that made for a pleasant spot for after dinner coffee.

The rooms do not have a desk to work on. There are no working plugs in the room to charge cell phones or plug in computers other than worn out plugs that no longer hold snug a connecting devise. Only one chair non comfy chair in the room. Public spaces do not have any charm with light fixtures, flower arrangements, decorations. Just empty tables and no comfy places to sit and relax and chat with other visitors. Hotel valet service was outstanding. The Hotel reception desk clerks were unfriendly and uncaring.
