AAA Diamond Inspector Notes
This is the closest hotel to the Mystic Aquarium which is located directly across the street. The nautical-industrial styled hotel offers modern rooms with some upscale appointments. Bathrooms feature cream colored marble tiled showers, bright electric mirrors, and high end Crabtree & Evelyn bath amenities. The sundry area offers a variety of essentials as well as some unique Mystic area souvenirs. Additional boutique shops at Old Mystic Village are located across the street. Smoke free premises. 184 units. 4 stories, interior corridors.

Hotel location was excellent for weekends plans to see Mystic and go to Mohegan Sun. Desk staff was excellent . I didn’t like how housekeeping cleaned room after first night of stay. Beds made and fresh towels but trash wasn’t emptied and a few coffee cups left on sink and bureaus weren’t removed. Maybe because I didn’t put in trash?
Gone downhill since our last stay. Dust and hair on closet floor, in-house phone didn’t work; No towels! Hardly any TV channels, Breakfast in The Irons was cold and overcooked. Only one staff member was welcoming and helpful Only redeeming quality was dinner one night in The Irons.

Was unable to reach in room dining for breakfast Front desk became very frustrated but unable to help me. Left for my meeting for the day without being to eat and take vital medication
