Upon arrival at correct check in time, the room was not ready and needed to be cleaned. The lobby was full and hectic but the woman behind the counter was nice. Unfortunately our room was not ready in time for us to get ready for a wedding, we had to get changed and get ready in the public hotel bathroom. While it was decently clean, still very degrading having an open suitcase in an open bathroom. We ran out the door and told the woman that we can’t wait and will be back around 10pm ish to check in again. We arrive back to the hotel around 10pm and was finally able to check in. I asked for a discount because we were not able to check in at our reserved time 3pm. He stated that I would have to discuss it in the morning while checking out, which was totally fine and there was a charge placed on my CC which was not disclosed that popped up after getting into the room. Then in the morning we found and unopened ****** on the nightstand behind the phone, so the room was never actually cleaned. Upon check out I tell the employee at the counter about my experience and asked if there was anything they could do. She stated that the charge was only a hold(thank goodness!) and that she would see what she could do and would speak with the GM about what happened and a discount. Never got a call or a discount from the GM. After calling twice to the hotel and twice to corporate to find out why I am having to go through hoops to get a discount. I get an email saying my case has been solved. But I never got a call. So then I had to call corporate back and they gave me a few points. Not a discount, and not a refund. I’m pretty dissatisfied with my experience, however the employees besides the GM were very nice and understood my frustration. I would not recommend going there.
