EVEN Hotels Manchester Airport

Upon entering my room, it smelt like sweaty gym socks -- I understand there's some lightweight gym equipment in there, but I didn't expect it to have this off-putting aroma. I went over the vents in the room and ran my finger over them and they were caked inside with dust and debris; the ceiling vent in the bathroom had a layer on it as well. I decide to indulge in the pool early the next morning -- finding ***** matter at the bottom of the deep end -- thankful to have worn goggles, I immediately exited and informed the desk. I won't get into detail, but it was visibly defecation and streaking and chunks sitting at the bottom of the pool. It was no "probably a Babe Ruth bar ha ha ha" like I was told by whom claimed to be a member of staff. Not sure, no name tag but claimed to be involved in the establishment. The desk person was quick to shut down the pool, but there is nothing funny about the situation. Needless to say, I took a scalding hot shower and scrubbed my skin; I checked out immediately afterward, I really wanted to stay for breakfast. The best part about this stay was the woman who served me at the bar for dinner and coffee. I cannot remember her name, but she was very kind! If asked if I would consider returning to this location, I would not.
