Doubletree By Hilton Seattle Airport

We chose this DoubleTree by Hilton Airport to be close to SeaTac to make it easy to catch a flight the next morning. That part was good - it’s suitably close to SeaTac. However, the hotel itself is run down, shabby and needs an interior paint. The staff we encountered were remote and disinterested. Our room carpeting felt skeevy, such that my wife wouldn’t walk on it. She felt the same way about the bed sheets, disgusting to touch. And tho the website says they have parking, they use this gimmick to add fees they don’t tell you about - they charged me $45 to park my car for about 9 hrs. We fly out of SeaTac regularly for business and pleasure but we won’t be staying here again.

Yucky room seemed like a post apocalyptic syfi dungeon, we got two beds instead of a king, front desk staff seemed not to care and just said well we were sold out… the sprawling complex of walk ways and the 15 minute walk w bags from lobby to room sucked. In the early morning at 3am we accidentally walked outside w bags and had to walk around the buildings to the lobby. Thankfully the transport shuttle was awesome .

We planned to arrive early to enjoy the amenities, but arrived too late in the evening and left for very early morning flight. The room was clean and quiet. The check in staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
