On very attractive grounds, the property offers an elegant lobby and public areas. Rooms on higher floors have impressive views of Kansas City's suburbs. There is also a fire pit in the courtyard area. A racquetball court is available. Smoke free premises. 356 units. 18 stories, interior corridors.

Main elevators were all being refurbished at the same time. We were placed on the 9th floor & were directed to use the staff service elevators. This was clearly a “back stage” area & was not appropriate for guests. Staff was not that welcoming & offerred minimal assistance. This hotel was not worth the price in its current state.
Overall appearance, decor, beautiful lobby, excellent staff, who were friendly, welcoming, pleasant, knowledgeable and took time to answer any questions I had.
