For what I paid the room was clean and comfortable, the receptionist was pleasant to deal with and it was an easy check in process. The parking lot was pretty tight and we got the last space when we arrived, but I think they do have another lot they use across the street. The beds were pretty soft but not overly soft. I did not find the beds comfortable because I prefer firm beds but I rarely find them in hotels. This was one of the cheaper hotels in the area, but they suited my needs for the 1 night they were there. They were centrally located to several restaurants that were walking distance. I would stay here again if I came back to Monterey.
