I’m Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Carpet needed to be shampooed. However, the door lock on our room did not work. Luckily we noticed this before we went to dinner. We were moved to a different room but that lock did not work either. Moved again and finally one that worked. Desk clerk said that “it was a new locking system and sometimes it didn’t work.” Seems quite unsafe and that’s why I have this hotel a lower rating.

The room and location were fine. It was a handicapped room with a roll in shower that worked perfectly. Location was next to a restaurant that gave a discount with the motel key. Limited accessibility to the breakfast bar from a wheelchair. Evidently the attendant was not present but the manager said we should have come to the front desk when I explained the problem--The counter in the food area is too tall to be accessed from a wheelchair. No fan in the bathroom area so mirror fogged over and bathroom smells lingered. Furnishings seem to be new.
