This hotel is within walking distance of the convention center and the shops and restaurants at Jack London Square. Guestrooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. Smoke free premises. 162 units. 5 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

1) It was difficult to find the entrance to the hotel for parking. 2) On top of the so called "room rate" plus taxes I was charged, I had to pay an additional $45.00 to park at this hotel, which offered "valet only" paking. I am very irritated by this additional charge, which inflated the cost to stay there to around $200, not the approximate $150 I had budgeted to spend. 3) Given the seedy neighborhood in which this hotel is located, I could have shopped for better options in a nicer, safer location at $200 for the night. 4) The whole experience felt like false advertising and a bait and switch. 5) It took the AAA agent far too long to process the reservation and payment for my stay.
I was looking for a more relaxed vibe than the larger Marriott up the street and a decently sized room with a couch and Courtyard delivered. The location was good - just 2 blocks from the BART station and it also seemed to be a bit quieter than deeper into downtown. This meant it was still easy to walk to anything or catch the BART but I wasn't bugged by noise at night. The room was modern and comfortable. I would stay there again.
