The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was concerned being right across from the elevator but it wasn’t a problem. I was unaware that guests have to request housekeeping ahead of time, so keep that in mind. I had a slight AC problem at first but the response to fix it was really quick. The neighborhood is great and there’s a Walgreens right around the corner.
Very quaint, which I loved but the pictures don’t match the actual hotel. We were there for five days on a Mommy and Me trip. Our first travel(s) in three years due to the pandemic. I was a little disappointed. For the price we paid, booked two months in advance, there’s no microwaves or refrigerators. The ice machine, vending, and a tiny microwave are all located on the 2nd floor and we were on the 5th. My best friend had ants in her room and staff gave her a bottle of bug spray. You have to schedule 24 hrs in advance to have your room cleaned. Before I booked, I saw lots of reviews about how clean the hotel is/was. That wasn’t the case for us.

Clean, quiet, wonderful neighborhood. Short walk to Lincoln Park, restaurants, shops and Lake Michigan.
