It's a nice motel: clean, quiet, friendly staff, nice breakfast buffet. I think the pool was under repair or something but that didn't matter since I wasn't there to swim. The heating/ac unit in the room was funky, meaning, it didn't seem to be working. The room could have used a temperature boost at night (the lows were in the 30's) but it wasn't a life or death issue. Just inconvenient. The tap water had a sulfur smell to it. I don't know if this is common to all the wells in the area but I certainly noticed it. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will go back again.

Clean and comfortable. Well located for driving to many Munising trails and waterfalls and of course Pictured Rocks. Only deficiency was the powdered eggs with the breakfast. I’m not too picky but these were so dry and tiny clumpy as to be unpleasantly inedible. No sausages either. Waffles were ok.
