Baron Hotel

I can only imagine that people are giving this place more than 2 stars because of the location. The bathroom was fine (despite the landlord special with paint all over the towel racks), but the rooms were dingy as hell. There aren't any hangers in the wardrobe, the furniture is all scratched and worn, and the walls legit looked like they had mold on them (along with the lampshade). There's also no rug in the room. They do clean and make the beds every day, but overall this place really gives "murder hotel" vibes. The hallways are weirdly plastered with printed-out pictures of famous people in America and some of them are falling off the walls. The stairs are really steep, but the elevator door literally shuts on you when you try to get in so the stairs are a better bet. Overall, if you're looking for a budget option that is a good location and don't care about the room because you won't be spending much time there, this is a fine option. But don't come here thinking you'll be relaxing in your room. Some renovations to the rooms themselves (like just taking off the gross wallpaper that has patched holes and painting the walls?) would go a really long way to making this place a lot nicer. Also, it's not accessibility friendly at all--there is no way I would recommend this place for anyone who has trouble with stairs or needs accommodations. I tripped on the door frames heading to my room multiple times as well. 2 stars at best, mainly for location.
