The cabin was below a kitchen. The kitchen sounds were very prevalent and made it impossible to sleep. While food option were okay at times, we are early risers and breakfast was not served some days at 7, some days at 6:30. Disembarking in belieze was ridiculous. We had to get in line by 6:30 to get a pass to get off first to do our excursion. The transit boat to shore was wet with paint and several of us had ruined clothing due to sitting on wet paint. I do not feel the cabin we had should have been rented with the noise and wish the food options for non meat eaters were more abundant and not at dinner. The gap from say 4-6 there was very little options. We got back from our excursion and the excursion had no food options. So when we got back we were very hungry and had very little options as it wasn’t dinner time yet. Based on that I would not travel by Carnival cruise lines agains. Our experience with AAA was terrific in planning the trip,.
5 Night The Bahamas from Norfolk Cruise
5 Nights - Carnival Magic - Departed from Norfolk, Virginia
Cruise was excellent but would not leave out of Norfolk again unless 2nd gangway added to cruise terminal. Also need for 2nd elevator in cruise terminal to accommodate people who are unable to use the escalator. Embark/disembark was very difficult. However, bus service to & from parking lot was excellent with friendly/helpful drivers & parking lot attendants.
