Campground Overview
Located in Lakehead, California, Lakeshore Villa RV Park spans over 6.7 acres and features two outdoor restrooms with free hot showers, picnic tables and trails. We cater to large and small RVs and trailers ranging from 16 feet long to over 40 feet long plus sufficient space for a towing vehicle. Most of our spaces are approximately 16-24 wide and some are even wider, accommodating everyone's needs. Our sites feature 30 amp and 50 amp hookup service with full hookup to water with each space providing a sewer drain. As a convenience to our guests, propane is sold on site. The park backs up to a creek where swimming and fishing are popular. Fishing requires a state license which can be purchased online. Outdoor BBQ is allowed but, currently, no charcoal or wood burning is permitted due to the recent fires. Propane tank or electric BBQs are acceptable.
Please note that trains do run near our park and throughout the City of Lakehead. Also, the lake water level is dependent upon the season and the amount of rainfall With such in mind, whether your prefer a short and or a long term stay, we hope to see you soon!
***Please call our park manager at the number listed on your Reservation Confirmation Page, to see if the park's WIFI and Dish Network are currently available as we are in the midst of upgrading and are working on getting service.***

Rules
Alcohol on the premises
Alcohol is permitted in the park as social drinking is a pleasant and enjoyable activity with friends and family. However, drunken and rude behavior is not tolerated. Guests will be asked to remain in their trailers if they exhibit such behavior.
Sale of Propane
We are able to sell propane to our guests. We offer our overnight guests discounted prices that are usually less than the surrounding area. However, only the park manager is authorized to load up your propane bottles. Please call the manager at 530 238 8688 if you need to purchase some propane. As we do not have a regular staff in the office, it is always a good idea to call first.
Insurance
Although we not require insurance for your vehicles or RV, it is highly advisable that you have loss coverage for your trailer and personal belongings. Insurance is also recommended to cover damage caused by you. The park is not responsible for damage to property caused by others nor by natural calamities such as fire, floods or earthquakes. The park's responsibility is to maintain the grounds and the area outside of your lot space. You are responsible to maintain your own trailer and the area within your lot. Theft and vandalism of your property by others is considered an intentional act and is not covered by the park's insurance. You must carry your own insurance to be covered. Negligent acts by others may also not be covered depending upon the circumstances. To be safe, carry your own insurance. If a guest sustains a personal injury on park grounds, the park will open a file and will determine the cause of the injury. If the injury is caused by the park, an insurance claim will be filed. However, if the fault is not the park's, the guest should proceed under his or her own insurance coverage.
Driving in the park
Pedestrians always have the right of way. Whenever someone is walking alongside or crossing in front of you, please slow down or stop and let the person pass. Otherwise, please do not drive more than 5 miles per hour in the park. When parking a trailer or boat, please get out of the car often to observe the position of the trailer. Please take note of any objects that may be hit when backing up your trailer or boat into a space. Please note that the park does have speed bumps on its roads. Therefore, if you are pulling a trailer, you must go slow to minimize bouncing of your vehicles and tow behinds.
Cancellation policy
If Roverpass has a different cancellation policy other than the terms stated herein, we will apply whichever cancellation terms that are more favorable to you. Because we allow our guests to pick their own spaces when making a reservation, these spaces, once selected, are blocked off from other guests who may desire to rent that particular space. However, if a guest decides to cancel, it may be difficult to re-rent that space when it is too close to the reservation date. Therefore, we encourage our guests not to make a reservation for a particular space unless they intend to use it. Nevertheless, we will refund all fees if a notice of cancellation is given by either phone or email that is, at least, 14 days PRIOR to the scheduled reservation of a 1 to 3 night stay. There will be no refund if there is less than 14 days notice. If a notice of cancellation is given WITHIN 30 days of any scheduled reservations for 4 days or more, there will be no refund unless there are extenuating circumstances such as an illness in the family, an inoperable vehicle or boat, or poor weather conditions. Of course, if there is a cancellation without a refund and the space is re-rented to another guest, we will credit the original guest with the amount received toward their charges. In summary, we encourage advance booking to block out a favorite space and discourage last minute cancellations in fairness to others who may desire the same space. Please note that any separate fees paid to Roverpass must be refunded by Roverpass.
Use of power receptables
In some spaces, there is a choice of using either a 30 amp socket or a 50 amp socket. In other spaces, there is only a 30 amp socket. However, do not try to use an adapter to convert your 30 amp plug in order to plug into a 50 amp socket. Similarly, do not try to adapt your 50 amp plug to insert into a 30 amp socket. You may blow out the circuit breaker or you may damage your vehicle. If your RV or trailer is equipped with 50 amp service, you will need to rent a space with an available 50 amp socket. Do not attempt to modify your 50 amp plug in order to plug into a 30 amp socket. You may blow out a circuit breaker or you may cause damage to your vehicle.
Number of Guests
Each party may be up to 6 guests. Additional guests must register with the park manager and pay a fee or pay for an additional space.
Pet rules
Pets are welcome but need to be under the control of the owner and on a leash whenever outside on the grounds. Aggressive animals are not permitted. Proof of insurance may be required if you own a Pitt Bull or a Rottweiller. All owners must pick up litter after their dogs.
Bicycles in the park
Bicycles are allowed in the park but reckless driving or speeding is not allowed. If riding at night, bicycles must be equipped with a working headlamp and a taillight. Children, especially, like to ride their bikes so parents must monitor and control them. Be careful when driving near moving vehicles as drivers may not see you. Do not ride a bicycle near crowds. Do not leave a bicycle unattended that is obstructing someone's path or driveway.
Music at Night
Music and loud noises should be kept down after 10 P. M. at night.
Upgrade or substitution policy
The park reserves the right to substitute or to upgrade a guest's reserved space subject to notification of the guest. Occasionally, due to factors beyond our control, a space may not be available for the designated reserved period. This could be due to a prior guest overstaying the designated check out time or date, accidents or to on going repairs. In such instances, we will offer to substitute an equivalent or larger space at no additional cost to the guest. If the guest does not agree to the substitution, we will refund in full all monies received from Roverpass paid by the guest. The guest may still have to contact Roverpass for any of Roverpass's charges for a refund of their charges. At times, a guest may request a change or upgrade from their existing space or reservation, perhaps, because the guest chose the wrong lot or space size for their trailer setup. We will be happy to accommodate such requests provided the desired space is available. The difference in price will be adjusted and charged directly to the guest. If not possible, a full refund can be offered provided the request is made timely.
Fire in the Park
Currently, no wood burning is allowed in the park due to the potential of fire. Propane or electric BBQs are permitted.
Check in and Check Out Times
Our check out time is normally 12:00 Noon. If you require a later check out time, please speak to our park manager and we will try to accommodate you. This gives us time to prepare the space for our next guest, if necessary. Our check in time is between 2:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M on the day of arrival. If there are no guests staying in your space at the time you arrive, you may check into that space before 2:00 P.M. Occasionally, a guest may overstay his or her reservation. If such does occur, we will place you in an equal or better space or offer you a credit for your inconvenience. Also, we understand that delays can occur so that you may arrive later than scheduled. In such instance or if you do not see the park manager, if you know the number of your lot space and you have already prepaid for your space, please check the park map and go directly to that space. You can check in the next day. Otherwise, please call the park manager at the number listed on your Reservation Confirmation Page for assistance if you are not going to be able to arrive as scheduled. Although we do not have a regular staff in the office, we will try to accommodate any reasonable request if you call.
Cleanliness and smoking in the park
Please throw all trash into the trash bins. Do not leave used cups, paper plates, bags and debris on the ground or on picnic tables for someone else to clean. Smoking is allowed in the park but please do not smoke in any of the restrooms, buildings or near crowds. Also, do not throw cigarette butts onto the ground. Please put out your cigarettes or cigars and placed them into a metal, glass or water container as burning cigarettes are a major source of fire. Please do not throw any grease or oil onto the ground or into any drains. Pour into a container and throw into a trash bin.
Power Outtages
Within the last several years, Northern California has experienced power outtages due to PGE's monitoring of weather conditions and projecting days when it would be unsafe to provide power to certain regions of the state. If such a projection occurs upon your scheduled dates, if you have not yet checked in, we will offer you a cancellation of your reservation and we will offer you a full refund of your deposit except for any charges that you may have paid to Roverpass. You must seek a refund directly from Roverpass for their charges. If you still wish to continue with your reservation, we will refund you half of your daily charges for each day there is an actual power outtage. If possible, we will try to provide you with an alternative source of power such as from a generator unless you wish to use your own generator. Please note that you may not be able to run all of your appliances at the same time from a generator. Please be assured that you are under no obligation to stay if we cannot provide you with the optimum enjoyment of your time at the park.
Use of restrooms
Flush the toilet often when using. This helps prevent clogs in the toilet. However, please do not flush any paper other than regular toilet paper in the toilet. Kleenix, paper towels, diapers and tampons should not be flushed down the toilet as they are not biodegradable and will cause a blockage in the drains. Surprisingly, even facial tissue does not break down in the water and can cause blockage. Please use the trash bins instead.
