Zante Water Village

Zante Water Village caters to all kinds of water lovers. Adrenaline junkies can hit the high-speed chutes of the Thrill Tower and Boomerbowl Tower, while families might prefer the slightly slower multitrack and mat slides of the Family Tower or Extreme Tower. Gentler attractions include the Lazy River, baby pool, and lagoon pool. Completing the fun are a go-kart track, trampolines, penalty shootouts, and minigolf, plus a restaurant, ice-cream parlor, shops, and bars.

Zante Water Village is 3.7 miles (6 kilometers) west of Zakynthos Town, near the village of Sarakinado. The easiest way to visit the park is to book a tour that includes round-trip transport. No public buses service the park, so cabs or driving are your only options to visit independently—free parking is available.

The park opens daily from May to October, with extended opening times in high summer. Be aware that slides shut 30 minutes before closing. The park is at its quietest after midafternoon, and lines for slides are generally short—although expect 10- to 15-minute waits during August.

This super-fast tube ride sees you race down a high-banked chute before shooting up a near-vertical wall and plunging down into a pool.
