St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts

With waterfront views and a convenient downtown location, the MFA is the perfect addition to an art-lovers day out in the city. Visitors can explore the museum’s collections and temporary exhibits on a self-guided or docent-led tour. The museum is located between Beach Drive and Bayshore Drive. It can be easily reached by car, bike, or public transportation from other St. Petersburg attractions and accommodations. Meter parking is available on both sides of the museum.

The museum is open daily, with guided tours offered twice a day (only one tour on Sunday). The museum has extended hours and discounted admission on Thursday evenings.

Set on the waterfront just a 15-minute walk from MFA is the Salvador Dalí Museum—another must-see for St. Petersburg visitors. The building itself is a work of art and inside you can explore the largest collection of Salvador Dalí artwork outside of Spain. Exhibits include a vast array of art from throughout his expansive career, ranging from paintings and drawings to sculptures and photographs. Plus, the museum’s Cafe Gala introduces visitors to Spanish food and history.
