SkyPoint Observation Deck

Skypoint Observation Deck is located on the 77th and 78th floors of the Q1 building, which, at 1,058 feet (322.5 meters), is Australia’s tallest. Take the express elevator, which takes just 42.7 seconds to soar up 755 feet (230 meters). In addition to the stunning views, there is a café, minicinema, weather station, and informative displays. Those who dare can also make the Skypoint Climb, up 298 external steps from the deck to the very top of the building.

Single-day and multi-day tickets are available. It’s possible to combine a visit to Skypoint with a bundled ticket that also includes Dreamworld or other area theme parks. Or visit Skypoint as part of a full-day Gold Coast sightseeing tour that may also include other sites such as Springbrook National Park.

Q1 building is located just south of central Surfers Paradise. The light rail stops right outside the tower, and a number of buses also stop nearby. From elsewhere on the Gold Coast, take exit 66 of the Pacific Motorway. Free 2-hour parking is available, which can be extended with the purchase of a Skypoint Observation Deck ticket.

Skypoint Observation Deck is open daily. Plan your visit on a clear day for the best views. If you want to catch the sunset, arrive early to secure a spot. On Friday and Saturday nights, the deck turns into an 18-and-over bar and lounge, with live music, DJs, and fun events.
