POINT OF INTEREST

Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs™

1506 E Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL

With its movie memorabilia, video walls, sing-alongs, and a celebrity chef–designed menu, the Disney Springs™ outpost of this world-renowned restaurant chain is the place to eat American comfort food while enjoying tributes to Tinseltown. Visitors can plan on seeing movie montages, music videos, and regularly performing live music acts.

Conveniently located in the Town Center of Disney Springs™, this Planet Hollywood restaurant is a treasure trove of rare memorabilia that will impress any movie buff. From Spider-Man and Superman outfits to a life-size R2-D2, and even a 4,500-square-foot (1,372-square-meter) video wall, there’s plenty to keep you entertained while waiting for your meal.

The menu has been revamped by celebrity chef Guy Fieri, and dishes include “the Bacon Mac-N-Cheese Burger” with six-cheese mac’n’cheese, crispy onion straws, and applewood smoked bacon. Other favorite bites include the “World Famous Chicken Crunch,” and the signature “Star Jar” desserts with lashings of cake, ice cream, and colorful toppings. It’s wise to book a table in advance as the restaurant can get very busy during lunchtime and evenings.

  • The restaurant is wheelchair-accessible.

  • Parking lots are available at Disney Springs™, but be aware that they often reach capacity during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Stay connected during your visit with free Wi-Fi.

  • Portion sizes are very generous, even for kids.

  • Check the schedule for live music—performances are often held from 7pm–11pm.

  • Be sure to tell the server if you’re celebrating a special occasion, such as a birthday, honeymoon, or anniversary.

If you’re staying at any of the Walt Disney Resort® hotels—take advantage of the complimentary bus and water transportation that regularly travels from hotels to Disney Springs™. If you’re driving, from I-4, take Exit 67 in the direction of EPCOT/Disney Springs™, then follow the signs until you get to Disney Springs™. Once in Disney Springs™, you’ll find Planet Hollywood in the Town Center of the complex, opposite the Coca-Cola store.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, but it can get very busy at peak times. It’s recommended to make a booking in advance rather than showing up on the day. To avoid the crowds, it’s a good idea to eat outside of the typical lunch and dinner times if you can.

Planet Hollywood is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and children are welcome throughout the day and evening. The children’s menu is for children aged 9 and under, and has favorites such as chicken fingers, spaghetti and meatballs, and even a kid’s salad. Kids often enjoy the Disney singalongs—but keep in mind that the music can be very loud, so bringing ear plugs might be a good idea for younger children.
