Located just outside of Shenzhen, OCT East Shenzhen is a hilltop entertainment and resort complex. Spanning 3.5 square miles (9 square kilometers), OCT East Shenzhen has something for everyone; you’ll find three theme parks, scenic towns, golf courses, hotels, and a range of shows and attractions.
Knight Valley theme park is the ideal choice for thrill seekers; rides range from water slides and wave pools to roller coasters and cable cars. Enjoy panoramic views from the highest point in the park, which boasts a dizzying glass-bottomed bridge or, for more leisurely pursuits, head to Interlaken Swiss Village, the Buddhist Huaxing Temple, or Tea Stream Valley to experience a tea ceremony. Golfers can experience two championship golf courses at Wind Valley.
Book tickets ahead of time to avoid lines that peak during the Chinese school holidays. You can purchase a ticket to either Knight Valley or Tea Stream Valley separately, or opt for a combo ticket that grants you access to both over multiple days; some tickets also include paid shows. For the ultimate convenience, upgrade to a tour package that includes round trip transportation from Shenzhen, or create your own itinerary with private transportation.

OCT East Shenzhen is located in Dameisha, east of Shenzhen. It’s easiest to drive there, so unless you want to hire a car, consider chartering a private driver and vehicle for the day. A number of Shenzhen city buses stop nearby, as do Dameisha Holiday bus numbers 1, 2, and 8.
OCT East Shenzhen is popular on weekends and holidays, so try to visit outside of these times for a quieter experience and shorter lines. The resort is expansive so some visitors find they need more than one day to see and experience everything; several on-site hotels make it easy to stay overnight and explore at a more relaxed pace.
In addition to its attractions, a diverse programme of shows and performances occurs each day. Highlights include parades, street performances, magic shows, bird shows, and music concerts. The two most popular shows are Heavenly Zen in Tea Stream Valley, which tells the story of tea through dance, and Roaring Flood in Knight Valley, a live-action stunt show that includes explosions, acrobatics, and exciting action sequences.
