It’s easy to get to the Museum of the Second World War from Gdańsk center; it’s a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. Alternatively, you can take the 130 bus from Dworzec Glowny 05 to Muzeum II Wojny Światowej 01 bus stop, which takes around eight minutes.

When to get there

The museum is open throughout the year, but it’s typically closed on Mondays. If visiting on Tuesdays, there’s free entry for the first 200 visitors; consequently, Tuesdays attract bigger crowds. As the entry numbers are capped daily, it’s advisable to come early in the morning for a more peaceful experience.
