The park is located in the central Iowa town of Waterloo, about two hours from the capital city of Des Moines. From downtown Waterloo, take US-218 south, then follow Hess Road to Lost Island.
The water park is open from June through August, and the golf and go-kart courses are open on additional weekends throughout the rest of the year.
