LEGOLAND® Florida Resort

1 Legoland Way, Winter Haven, Florida

Conveniently located between Orlando and Tampa, LEGOLAND® Florida Resort is one of Central Florida’s most imaginative theme parks. Opened in 2011, the resort comprises a theme park, water park, and a botanical garden, and is home to more than 50 rides, sideshows, and restaurants.

As one of the largest LEGOLAND® parks in the world, the 150-acre (61-hectare) LEGOLAND® Florida Resort is a must-visit destination for kids aged 2-12. The park has a dozen play areas, which include the hands-on Imagination Zone and LEGO MOVIE™ WORLD, which brings the LEGO films to life. You’ll also find roller-coasters, kid-friendly rides, and live shows. For a stress-free visit, book your admission tickets online; some packages include round-trip transit to the park.

  • LEGOLAND® Florida Resort is home to more than a dozen eateries, which range from panini grills and burger restaurants to ice cream parlors.
  • The majority of park attractions and facilities are accessible to wheelchair users; wheelchairs can be rented on site.
  • The park’s mobile app is free to download, and lets you buy tickets, check the wait times on rides, and discover other park information.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort is located in Winter Haven, a 1-hour drive from Orlando via the I-4 W and a 1-hour drive from Tampa via the I-4 E. The LEGOLAND shuttle also operates between Orlando and the park and can be booked in advance. Should you wish to stay overnight, there are three on-site hotels.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort is open year-round; visiting days and hours vary from month to month, so it’s advised to check the website in advance of your visit. LEGOLAND’s Water Park is a seasonal attraction and is open from March-October.

If you need a break from the park’s high-octane rides, take a stroll around Cypress Gardens, a botanical garden that dates back to the 1930s and was originally part of the Cypress Gardens theme park that once stood on the site. Today, the verdant oasis showcases native species such as azaleas, camellias, and a giant banyan tree that was planted in 1939.
